London Chinatown Lions Club is delighted to be hosting the 17th London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival on 1 July 2012 at the London Regatta Centre.

With the continued support of The Hong Kong Executives Club and the main sponsor, The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, this riverside festival is firmly established as one of London's major annual cultural events.

Our programme for 2012 will be fantastic and promises to be bigger and better than ever. We'll have up to 40 dragon boat teams competing, with traditionally strong club teams, corporate and non-corporate teams, plus 'fun-runner' and charity teams challenging for top honours. The competition format has been tweaked for 2012 to make the racing even more exciting and spectacular. We will also be laying on an unprecedented mix of cultural attractions and family entertainment to make this year's dragon boat festival a totally unmissable event for you and your family. And with 2012 a special year - being The Year of The Water Dragon and coinciding with London 2012 and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee - you've got no excuse to miss the festival this year.
